Statue showing a reproduction of "Ombra della Sera", masterpieces of Etruscan Art dating from IIIrd century BC, from the antique foundries of the Volterra area in Italy and kept in the Guarnacci Museum. The story is that Giacommetti, smitten with these statues, used them as inspiration to create his iconic scutptures. Their worshop-made bronze patina gives them a warm and authentic look.
